In 2023, dacadoo released their latest iteration of the Health Score (Version 1.6), that brought about many updates. One major enhancement is the inclusion of SHAP values (SHapley Additive exPlanations) in the new API. SHAP values can offer invaluable insights into individual Health Scores by highlighting specific areas of strength and weakness. The updated Health Score API not only informs users of their overall health status, but can equip users to make informed decisions to boost their health & well-being. Furthermore, the new Health Score calculation can incorporate essential metrics such as blood oxygen saturation (spO2) and maximal aerobic capacity (VO2 max) values, enhancing its accuracy and comprehensiveness.
In addition to their health scoring model, dacadoo’s Digital Health Engagement Platform (DHEP) has undergone substantial enhancements throughout the past year, particularly with regards to its standardized content and gamification elements that include rewards and challenges.
A notable development in the rewards domain is the previously announced introduction of the Apple Watch Reward Program. This innovative initiative resulting from dacadoo’s partnership with Apple presents users a unique opportunity to track their physical activities through an Apple Watch or iPhone and earn rewards towards a new wearable device, or for existing Apple Watch owners, other incentives. Each DHEP client can tailor this program to their specific needs. Furthermore, the DHEP now features a new Promotions program, displaying full-screen pop-ups in the app to announce deals and promotions, with links for users to participate.
Beyond the new program, end-users typically gain access to rewards by accumulating points or completing challenges in the app. dacadoo continues to evolve its challenge content and templates, which clients can then customize. In line with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) regulations, the latest challenges released by dacadoo focus on sustainability and social awareness, and new proposals provide clients with guidance on aligning their initiatives with these standards. New optimizations to the DHEP infrastructure also enable clients to seamlessly integrate & copy dacadoo’s default content into their own application environments. These integrations are facilitated through a user-friendly web-based Admin Portal, which simplifies content management and customization. New articles are available in over 18 languages, designed to cater to a global audience. These articles provide users with valuable insights and information on topics relevant to their lifestyle and overall health. All these updates provided by dacadoo will streamline content deployment, minimize administrative efforts, and allow clients to concentrate on their core objectives.
